Silk Flowers is probably the weirdest band I have ever listened to. I can't really elaborate much on their sound but their music sounds like Kraftwerk with Ian Curtis-esque vocals. This review will be short but sweet.
Now this album, you can either love it or hate it. For me, I used to listen to a shit load of John Maus so it's an ok album. If you have never listened to John Maus or even know who the hell John Maus is, it could go either way. Some songs on this album does have some cool moments and some not so much. The intro for "Fragmented Mirrors" sounds a lot like music from an old Final Fantasy game except it's ten times creepier. One song I really like enjoy a lot from this album is "Shadows In Daylight" but really, the rest of this album is made of just fillers. I'd rather stick listening to their two 7"s.
